I
was confirmed of my salvation on 3/16/1997, baptized on 12/14/1997 and then
nurtured as a new Christian and discipled in
Chinese
Independent
Baptist
Church
in Oakland, California
(www.cibc-oakland.org).
It’s is a dynamic, growing 100-year-old church solid in Biblical
teaching, loving in fellowship, active in evangelism and discipleship right in
the center of Oakland Chinatown.
I was blessed to be able to serve the church full-time as a pastoral
intern in the summer of 2005.
Since
I went to
Dallas
for theological training in Summer 2002, I have been attending and serving in
Dallas
Chinese
Bible
Church
(www.dcbconline.org).
It’s also a dynamic and growing church of more than 40 years old close
to Richardson Chinatown dedicated to Biblical teaching, family values and
reaching out to the Chinese community. I
am especially blessed to be mentored by the Cantonese pastor of the church Rev.
Edmond Cheung who taught me great lessons about pastoral ministry through our
bi-weekly meetings and co-working in different ministries together.
Since I moved to
Baton Rouge and became a full-time minister in Summer 2007, Chinese Christian
Church of Baton Rouge (www.cccbr.net)
has become my spiritual home.
Since I moved to
Houston area in August 31st, 2010, I became the English Adult/Youth Pastor of
Katy Christian Community Church (www.katyccc.org).
